We Need Healthcare Reform.

  • As patient demands rise, the medical profession grapples with staffing shortages, threatening the quality of care and raising concerns about the sustainability of our healthcare systems. Immediate solutions are imperative.

  • The U.S. faces the daunting reality of having the world's highest healthcare costs, creating a substantial barrier to accessible care for many. Despite astronomical expenditure, health outcomes don't parallel this spending. According to The Commonwealth Fund, the U.S. ranks last among industrialized nations in healthcare quality, efficiency, access to care, equity, and living a healthy life.

  • Chronic diseases impact around 50% of Americans, forming a widespread epidemic. Chronic disease rates among those aged 50 and older are predicted to nearly double, skyrocketing from 71.522 million in 2020 to 142.66 million by 2050, revealing a significant health crisis.

This is where reform begins.

Preventive medicine starts with upstream health literacy support

Preventi's mission extends beyond post-visit eye care education. We're developing an engaging app designed to demystify health principles for each individual, offering personalized content that considers age, ethnicity, and economic background.

Empowering patients with knowledge is the first step to engagement. At Preventi, we recognize the urgency of this in the face of growing health worker shortages and escalating chronic diseases.

Our aim is to foster proactive health management by significantly enhancing health literacy.

Improving health literacy is associated with…

Decreased Healthcare Spending

It is estimated that inadequate health literacy adds an additional $106 to $238 billion cost to the health care system representing 7–17% of all personal healthcare expenditures.

Improved Patient Outcomes

When patients are able comprehend their conditions and treatments, they make informed decisions, follow care plans, and navigate our confusing healthcare system.

Increased Medication Compliance

Insufficient adherence to prescribed care often leads to the deterioration of health conditions and results in suboptimal usage of available healthcare services.

We Fight For Health Education For All.

Preventi is dedicated to giveback a portion of our profits to provide our educational content free in redlined and rural communities in the United States.

The first community we are aiming to serve is Aliquippa, PA, a redlined community just outside Pittsburgh. We are currently working with community leaders to implement a community-wide health education initiative.
